Troubleshooting
Common Issues
Solutions for frequently encountered problems.
My assistant isn't responding
- Check container status — go to the dashboard and verify your container is "Running". If it's suspended, send a message to trigger auto-resume.
- Check AI provider — verify your API key is valid and has credits in Settings > AI Provider.
- Check channel connection — go to Channels and verify the channel shows as "Connected".
Messages are slow
- First message after suspension — the container takes a few seconds to boot. Subsequent messages are fast.
- Rate limiting — if you've exceeded your plan's rate limit, messages are queued.
- AI provider latency — response speed depends on your chosen model and provider load.
Dashboard won't load
- Clear your browser cache and try again.
- Check that you're logged in with the correct account.
- Try a different browser or incognito mode.
I can't find my assistant's dashboard
Your assistant's native dashboard is at t-{id}.chelar.ai — this is separate from the Chelar platform dashboard at app.chelar.ai. You can find the link in Settings > Gateway in the platform dashboard.
