Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Solutions for frequently encountered problems.

My assistant isn't responding

  1. Check container status — go to the dashboard and verify your container is "Running". If it's suspended, send a message to trigger auto-resume.
  2. Check AI provider — verify your API key is valid and has credits in Settings > AI Provider.
  3. Check channel connection — go to Channels and verify the channel shows as "Connected".

Messages are slow

  • First message after suspension — the container takes a few seconds to boot. Subsequent messages are fast.
  • Rate limiting — if you've exceeded your plan's rate limit, messages are queued.
  • AI provider latency — response speed depends on your chosen model and provider load.

Dashboard won't load

  • Clear your browser cache and try again.
  • Check that you're logged in with the correct account.
  • Try a different browser or incognito mode.

I can't find my assistant's dashboard

Your assistant's native dashboard is at t-{id}.chelar.ai — this is separate from the Chelar platform dashboard at app.chelar.ai. You can find the link in Settings > Gateway in the platform dashboard.
